Our Spectacular Location

Surval Montreux enjoys a stunning hillside location just above the French-speaking Swiss town of Montreux (population 25,000). Well known for its famous Jazz Festival, Montreux is a very safe, vibrant and friendly town with shops, cafes and restaurants and excellent transport links to some of Europe’s most exciting cities (Milan, Paris, Madrid are just 3 hours by train!).

Surval Montreux is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Montreux. The school provides a minibus for the girls so that they can visit the town for walking, cycling, roller-blading along the lakeside promenade or just for a coffee or ice cream with friends. Situated just along the shoreline from Geneva (90 minutes’ train ride from Geneva airport), Montreux allows girls to enjoy this beautiful town within a safe setting, giving parents peace of mind.

Housed in a former hotel, Surval Montreux offers the comfort and luxury of Swiss hospitality with a warm, friendly family atmosphere.  Facilities include:

Surval Summer Camp celebrates its diversity of nationalities.

Each girl brings her own language, customs and traditions; part of the fun of your summer living at Surval is learning about, enjoying and sharing each other’s different backgrounds.

Our experienced, committed staff ensure each Camper feels supported throughout her stay, day and night.

Living space

Bedrooms are typically shared by 3-4 girls.  All rooms are en suite, with balconies overlooking the lake and mountains. All rooms have Wi-Fi connection, and a fridge to store any drinks and snacks. Each girl has a desk, wardrobe and a shared safe to store valuables.

Bedrooms are spacious for girls to relax with their friends.  Our al fresco sun terrace and comfortable Library are both popular chill-out zones with stunning views of the lake, and our Games and Fitness rooms in the basement offer further retreats during free time.

Dining at Surval

We enjoy a wide selection of excellent meals for a healthy, balanced diet, prepared by our in-house catering team.  

Our breakfast buffet includes cereals, cheese, yoghurts, ham, croissants and freshly baked bread, with eggs cooked by the Chef! There is always plenty of fresh fruit available and hot and cold drinks. As well as a cold salad selection, a choice of hot dishes is also freshly prepared for lunch and dinner every day.

Special dietary requirements are catered for, and there are always vegetarian and Halal options.

Mealtimes are fun and sociable at Surval Summer Camp, and girls can practise their English or French as well as the manners and social skills learnt in Etiquette!
